Nautical Sims can set sail between islands and dive underwater to uncover sunken treasure-or maybe even befriend a mermaid! With innovative features never before seen in The Sims PC franchise and a world of new possibilities on land and in sea, your Sims will reap the benefits of their own island paradise. Obviously, I'd vote for IP, even with the bugginess - but in the end, OP, it'll come down to your preferences (or if you're willing to wait for a sale).Island adventures in paradise await your Sims! From exploring the isles in fully customizable houseboats to creating a five-star resort experience, your Sims will love the carefree tropical lifestyle. IP was definitely one of my favorite expansion packs. Oh! And discovering hidden islands! How could I forget that? Super cool stuff. However, I thought scuba diving, exploring hidden caves, befriending mermaids, finding treasure, and even running resorts to be super fun. I loved IP, but if you get it, be prepared to sit through some lags and some general bugginess! It's definitely in need of some patches (which it will never get). The aliens were cool, but I didn't get a lot of screen time with them. In fact, I found myself toggling the weather from Seasons so that it was 75% summer, 10% spring, 10% fall, and 5% winter, in part because Sims always getting wet and cold got a little old for me. The seasonal festivals are okay, and snow is fun, but besides adding weather and a few more items to your wardrobe, it didn't really do much in the way of gameplay for me. I bought both a while ago, and while seasons was nice and atmospheric, I didn't get a lot out of it.
